I sometimes get people asking for a reading if the person they are with is any good for them. The reason for asking this question in the first place is obviously that they will have noticed one or more red flags, signs of disrespect etc, so in 99.9 % of all these types of situations I would say chances are he is not good for you. This is your gut telling you to get out and you would do well to listen.
However, there can be many different back stories when people come to me with a question along the lines of ‘Should I stay or should I go?’ and sometimes you know the other person is not a bad person but together you have created a rift that you don’t know how to repair or if it ever can be repaired.
That’s when you may want a reading on the situation. This is one of the most difficult things to read on for yourself (due to the emotional attachment to outcome) and that is why I recommend using the Tarot cards together with a pendulum and sealed envelops for ‘blind dowsing.’ I use a similar method for choosing between two or more lovers in this vlog.
STEP 1 – Write the words ‘Stay’ and ‘Go’ on two separate pieces of paper. Stick the ‘Stay’ and ‘Go’ pieces of paper in separate envelops. Seal the envelops and mix them until you don’t know which note is in which envelope. Continue reading
This advanced Tarot spread is inspired by years of reading the 9 Square intuitively, observing patterns and listening to the whispers of the cards themselves. In the past few months, I have felt a need to add two cards to the square when doing love Tarot readings… and then one day the penny dropped: each of the card positions correspond to Major Arcana 1-11, with the Hierophant as the central card and Justice as the outcome. In other words – perfection in terms of looking at long term potential with the Hierophant and Justice being two of the main marriage cards.
Roughly then you get the following positional meanings: Continue reading
Witches and Pagans celebrate the New Year on Halloween, or Samhain, as it is known in Pagan circles. This is the time in the Wheel of the Year when the veil between worlds is the thinnest and the Magick is strong. Traditionally, Beltane (30 April) is the Sabbat for Love Magick (Magick with a ‘k’ is used by practitioners to differentiate it from stage magic tricks) but the Mandala spell is not a normal love spell; It’s a spell to help you prepare for True Love and establish an energetic bond between you and your unknown future Soul Mate lover, rather than trying to bind a known lover to you. It also allows you to call on the help of your ancestors for subtle intuitive guidance about the characteristics to be looking out for.
You will need:
- A Tarot deck to divine the potential of your magick
- A candle for honouring your ancestors and ask for their guidance/blessing
- An animal oracle (or you can use a FREE online Animal Oracle) to decide the theme of the Mandala
- A print-out of the mandala of your choice
- Colouring pens
Before you begin, make sure that you have a couple of hours to yourself when you won’t be disturbed. Light some incense and play soft music if you think this will help you relax and be creative. Continue reading
Today’s love &relationship Tarot spread is for looking at how you connect with your lover across the Elemental spectrum and what you can do to tweak/improve the connection. In the image above, I’m working with the Victorian Romantic Tarot but any Tarot deck will do.
1. Separate all the 2′s from the deck and shuffle them until you don’t know which one is on top. Stop when you feel that you have shuffled enough and turn the top card over. This card represents where your connection is the strongest.
Pentacles = Physical
Cups = Emotional
Swords = Intellectual
Wands = Spiritual
In the example above, the chosen card is the 2 of Pentacles, showing us that the physical connection is the strongest component of this particular relationship. Continue reading
