It’s spring and love is in the air… Are you ready to get your mojo back with a hot and steamy Tarot reading about your latest flirt? The ‘Oh L’Amour!’ Tarot Spread will tell you all you need to know about him and how available he is for a spring fling or perhaps even something a bit more serious… My favourite deck for this type of reading is the Tarot of Sexual Magic by Lo Scarabeo. Any erotic deck will do though!
L – Loveability… What you fancy about him. Is he a good guy?

The Lenormand system of divination based on playing cards keeps gaining popularity so it seems timely to introduce these cards here, with meanings that are specific to love & relationships. After last week’s post about Givers, Takers and Matchers in Love and in the Tarot, it was suggested on my FB page that I write a post about signs that the person you are dating is a giver. The problem for me as a natural giver is that I tend to look for the positive first in everyone and that makes me believe everyone has good intentions. Witches and Pagans celebrate the New Year on Halloween, or Samhain, as it is known in Pagan circles. This is the time in the Wheel of the Year when the veil between worlds is the thinnest and the Magick is strong. Traditionally, Beltane (30 April) is the Sabbat for Love Magick (Magick with a ‘k’ is used by practitioners to differentiate it from stage magic tricks) but the Mandala spell is not a normal love spell; It’s a spell to help you prepare for True Love and establish an energetic bond between you and your unknown future Soul Mate lover, rather than trying to bind a known lover to you. It also allows you to call on the help of your ancestors for subtle intuitive guidance about the characteristics to be looking out for.
You will need:
- A Tarot deck to divine the potential of your magick
- A candle for honouring your ancestors and ask for their guidance/blessing
- An animal oracle (or you can use a FREE online Animal Oracle) to decide the theme of the Mandala
- A print-out of the mandala of your choice
- Colouring pens
Before you begin, make sure that you have a couple of hours to yourself when you won’t be disturbed. Light some incense and play soft music if you think this will help you relax and be creative. Continue reading
