Valentine’s Day Reading Bonanza!

With only a week to go until Shrove Tuesday… oh no, wait! Wrong post… Sorry, was hungry and thinking about pancakes! This is all about lurve, sweet lurve because V-Day is coming up on Thursday next week!

Anyway, this idea has been cooking (here we go thinking about food again!) in my brain for a day or so now. I thought, wouldn’t it be nice to give some readings away in honour of Valentine’s Day?

In the end, the purpose for your paths crossing is not to settle down together as a couple in a love relations, but for you to find alignment with your life purpose and to learn independence (financial in particular).

    My special friend and I had a major business disagreement and he is currently not speaking to me, even though he promised it wouldn’t affect us personally. I’m worried I’ll never hear from him again and he’ll never forgive me? Should I be?

      Hi Jennifer, without major intervention it doesn’t look good as he feel heavily wronged. Allow the clouds of self-righteous anger begin to clear before you reach out to him again and make amends. He may forgive you in the end but your relationship won’t be the same.

      I’m getting physical distance here for some reason, Colubrina… Is it a long distance relationship? It looks like he may have been temporarily distracted by the effort of another lady who has been trying to get his attention. Patience will be required to get your wish but things will work out in the end.

    Hi Lisa! I frequently use your blog and find it to be a valuable resource.

    I pulled 2 cards just now asking “if I am patient and leave him alone, what will be the outcome of our relationship?” I received The World, and then asked for a clarifying card, which was the 2 of Cups. We are not currently together, and when we split it was due to outside factors and we were both distraught that we couldn’t continue – he said he had so much more to say and that he would think about me forever, and I told him the same and I HAVE been thinking about him very much these past 3 months.

    My cards seem to be very positive, but maybe yours could shed some light as well? The “be patient” message seems to be ever present when I ask the cards about him, but if it turns out that nothing will ever happen, I would rather heal and move on. It’s just that I have never experienced intense passion before like I did with him, and it’s hard to forget!

      Great question, Raquel! The 4 of Wands suggests some simple home improvements: Spruce up your bedroom. Add a bit of colour (reds, oranges, gold tones and pinks) and make it cosy as well as give it a more playful feel – the rest will follow! ;)

      I see a young-at-heart, artistic Water Sign male for you… He takes after his father. When it comes to money, he’s quite cautious which is uncharacteristic for Pisces and Scorpio, so that makes him a Cancerian :) He’s pretty darn clever too!

      Not sure that this is a great question to ask of the cards – especially since it concerns a situation in the past that you may not have a way of verifying and that is just likely to cause a wedge between you and your partner. The cards do indicate that you should honour your intuition though. x

      Hi Mathilda, there is a tendency to want to rush things here because of the strong emotional and physical connection but the cards advice that you take your time to get to know each other properly first. There is long-term potential here but it is not entirely smooth sailing. Go gently and it will be smoother.

    You’re so right, we dated in may (then I went away for a few months), came back, started dating properly again – then it fizzled out. Now we’ve been dating intensively again since a few weeks back (He wanted to start things over), and everything is great! But, as you said, it is all going a bit too fast. We already decided to be exclusive, and we do not know each other properly, but we really like each other and there is a strong connection between us.       Hi Susan, the best way forward is to be very gentle with yourself and honest about your own needs. Make sure you get to know him well. Take your time. If you do, I believe you will find that the emotional connection will not deepen to a comfortable level for you, so don’t ‘settle’ for less than you long for deep down.
